The Department of Brand Management oversees all representations of the Oklahoma State University brand. Our areas of expertise include media relations, crisis communications, internal/external messaging, branding, advertising, recruitment communications, visual media, digital strategy and more.
We aim to elevate OSU's profile by showcasing programs, resources and expertise, as well as the positive impact OSU's research has within the state, nation and world. We are dedicated to illuminating America's Brightest Orange and the Cowboy brand!

The Brand Management team is an inspiring, innovative and diverse group! Our team possesses a myriad of talents, which makes collaboration both highly effective and enjoyable. The encouragement, support and appreciation we provide to one other plays a big role in our team culture and our shared success. Our brainstorming sessions have no ceiling and we value the creativity of each and every team member.
We understand the importance of our team culture and strive to cultivate an environment that's as fun as it is effective. There is no shortage of laughter around our offices. We enjoy monthly food days, group outings, wellness activities, personal growth opportunities, team building activities, cheering on our Cowboys and more. We also have our own office softball team — the Pantone Pirates!

OSU's Department of Wellness recently selected our department as the winner of the 2023 Award for Excellence in Innovation and as a Certified Healthy Department. Our Culture Club was recognized as the most innovative wellness initiative adopted in the past year. Communications and Media Relations Manager

This role will work within Oklahoma State University’s Department of Brand Management using writing and editing skills to enhance the university’s brand and reputation and help implement OSU’s strategic marketing and communications plan, which includes media relations, promoting the university's strategy, aligning with OSU System communications teams and reputation management. This individual will lead a team in the development and execution of strategic communication plans and more.

Coordinator of Marketing Strategy

This role has primary responsibility for leading strategic Brand Management initiatives, campaigns and events to see them through to success, leading web and digital writing projects for partner departments and will be a strategic liaison for key partners, campuses, divisions and departments. This role will use project management, as well as writing and editing skills to help implement OSU’s strategic marketing and communications plan which prioritizes advancing the university’s strategy, priorities and reputation management.
